1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to shine on you that you are able to discover your sins and be willing to repent:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passages we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him.
My Listening
When we are shopping, lots of time we look for good brand name. People trust in some brand names but would not even take a look at some others!
Good brand names usually have good quality control. Goods need to have the certificate of their QC before they are being put into the market.
I got a big inspiration from today's Job and 2 Corinthians:
1. Holy Spirit is your guaranteed brand name
When we are shopping, lots of time we look for good brand name. People trust in some brand names but would not even take a look at some others!

I got a big inspiration from today's Job and 2 Corinthians:

"He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit guaranteeing of what is to come" 2 Corinthians 1:21-22
Sometimes being Christians is somewhat like the way our family bought our rice cooker. Some of our friends recommended us to buy a "Tiger" rice cooker and we did buy it. We have been using it for a few years and very satisfied. So, "Tiger" as the brand name has a guarantee of good quality. And, we believe this brand should have very good QC so that they have that good quality.
Similar, the Holy Spirit anointed us and God put His seal on us is somewhat like you see the brand name "Tiger" when you would like to purchase a rice cooker. It is good!
Our brand name is "Holy Spirit"! We are being filled with the Holy Spirit and we should have the quality guaranteed as the brand "Holy Spirit" and "made in heaven". It is that we can live out the fruit of the Holy Sprit through our daily life witness and lifestyle and the exercise of the gift of the Holy Spirit! Do you think so?
From Job 23:8-12, we know that what Job went through and those trails of our lives are actually the QC from God to make sure we have the Holy Spirit so that we can pass those tests and be ready to be used by God as suitable vessels!
Dear Lord Jesus,
Reflect on these questions:
1. What kind of inspiration and invitation have you received from today's message ?
2. What is your next step to be able to pass all those non-stop trials and QC so that you surely have the Holy Spirit as the guarantee as your brand name to become suitable vessel for God?
