Silence
1. Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence
2. Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.
Praise and Thanksgiving
1. Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2. Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people
Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)
1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to shine on you that you are able to discover your sins and be willing to repent:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."
The Word, Time with Abba (Psalm 91:9-16, Job 8:1-11:20; 1 Corinthians 15:1-28, Proverbs 21:28-29)

Today's main passage:
“Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call on me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him. Psalm 91:14-15
“Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call on me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him. Psalm 91:14-15
Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him.
My Listening
Rev. Dr. Paul Ng and I both had a call to launch a 40 days fasting for Hong Kong from June 14 to July 23. It was completed. Fasting one meal a day.
Then the situation in Hong Kong has become more and more critical, my wife and I had a call to have a three days complete "Esther" fasting started this Tuesday and completed yesterday.
Today's Psalm 91:14-15 has "He will" two times and "I will" six time!
May we claim God's promise from Psalm 91:14-15 because we are willing to call on him:
1. Two times "I will"
Because he loves me
He will call on me
2. "I will" six time
I will rescue him
I will protect him
I will answer him
I will be with him
I will deliver him
I will satisfy him
Are you willing to have a forty days fasting, fasting one meal a day, or like what Queen Esther and all the Jews did to have a complete fasting for three day, that's somewhat like an atomic bomb to dismantle all Satan's plan of genocide and to turn sorrow into joy, mourning into celebration.
Are you willing to take our baton and continue this relay to fast and pray for Hong Kong so that Hong Kong will experience sorrow into joy, mourning into celebration?
Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead more brothers and sisters to take the baton and to continue this relay to fast and pray for Hong Kong so that Hong Kong will experience sorrow into joy, mourning into celebration. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.Are you willing to take our baton and continue this relay to fast and pray for Hong Kong so that Hong Kong will experience sorrow into joy, mourning into celebration?
Reflect on these questions:
1. What kind of inspiration and invitation have you received from today's message ?
2. What is your next step to take the baton and to continue this relay to fast and pray for Hong Kong?
Family Corner:
Find an opportunity to share with your family the importance of today's message.
