Praise and Thanksgiving
1. Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2. Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people
3. Sing a song to praise God (you are welcome to use "Father, I adore you" which I have been singing every morning for the past 20 years or your own choice to praise God)
Father, I adore You, lay my life before You, how I love You.

1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to shine on you that you are able to discover your sins and be willing to repent:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God and having Jesus as my Lord. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gifts to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

A song of ascents.
1 Blessed are all who fear the Lord,
who walk in obedience to him.
2 You will eat the fruit of your labor;
blessings and prosperity will be yours.
3 Your wife will be like a fruitful vine
within your house;
your children will be like olive shoots
around your table.
4 Yes, this will be the blessing
for the man who fears the Lord.
5 May the Lord bless you from Zion;
may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem
all the days of your life.
6 May you live to see your children’s children—
peace be on Israel.

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage we have just read. Offer this time to Jesus as you listen to him.
My Listening
The topic I received from Jesus is: To have a good life is so easy!
There are so many books teaching people to have a good life. There are so many people who wants to have a good life. But, do you know that to have a good life is not difficult? In fact, it is so easy! Do you believe that?
Psalm 128 is one of my most favourite Psalms. Why? Because it gives me a very simple secret to have a good and blessed life.
Just one word: fear the Lord!
If you fear the Lord then you will walk in His ways and then you will have a good life because He is good. God is good, all the time, right?
Fear the Lord means a simple and personal listen and obey relationship with the Lord. Nothing more and nothing less!
It's like you are a soldier and you have a captain who loves you and care for you and your team members. Because of that care and love you are willing to have that total submission to him. Saying, "Yes Sir!" will be your fear out of respect but also joy out of trusting relationship!
To have a good life is so easy and yet we choose to fear of losing our job, fear of our health, fear of COVID, fear of cancer, fear of losing face, fear of crisis, fear of earthquake, fear of not able to sleep, fear of so many things, but never fear of God!
If we really are able to fear of God then I am very sure that we won't fear of anything and will have a good life!!!
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be able to fear of you that we won't fear anything anymore and will enjoy a good life. Amen.

Praise the Lord that after a few months of preparation for this new series with a good friend, Alice Cheung, you can see a brand new look in my daily blog. Alice who is now the Vice Principal of Diocesan Girls' School (https://www.dgs.edu.hk/) is going to draw a painting each day to highlight the key message of that day's Psalm. You can see the photos below of Alice, one pictures was taken in Hong Kong of Michelle and me, and Alice and her husband Johnson. The other picture is with her Doctor of Education gown standing besides the Alumni Wall of DGS and with her name and the year 1984, the year she graduated in that school. She had been a principal of a high school for seven years and worked as a Vice Principal two years ago.
