Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. Romans 6: 12
What I heard from Jesus today is: Who reign? Jesus or Sin?
Lots of people are living a life not thinking of they are having a mortal body. Lots of time we are being controlled by all kinds of evil desires! Admit that to our Lord Jesus Christ now and repent for that! Lots of time we are blind to our sins thinking that we are OK or may be every spiritual. We need to ask the Holy Spirit to reveal our darkness because we as a human having this mortal body are not able to see our darkness inside.
How to know that you are free from those evil desires? Just ask yourself one question: Who reign? Jesus or Sin? Do you have those lifestyle of Christlikeness to prove that Jesus is the One who reign in you?
Let's use a very effective tool to check your spiritual health. It's Neil Cole's LTG(Life Transformation Groups) Character Conversation Questions:
1. Have you been a testimony this week to the greatness of Jesus Christ with both your words and actions?
2. Have you been exposed to sexually alluring material or allowed your mind to entertain inappropriate sexual thoughts about another this week?
3. Have you lacked integrity in your financial dealings or coveted something that does not belong to you?
4. Have you been honoring, understanding and generous in your important relationships this week?
5. Have you damaged another person by your words, either behind their back or face to face?
6. Have you given in to an addictive behavior this past week?
7. Have you continued to remain angry toward another?
8. Have you secretly wished for another's misfortune?
9. Did you have your daily devotion and hear from God? What are you going to do about it?
10. Have you been completely honest to answer these questions?
Dear Lord Jesus,
You are my King, come and reign my life . In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
