However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him" - but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 1 Corinthians 2: 9-10
"For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him?"
But we have the mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2: 16
What I heard from Jesus today is: How to have the mind of Christ?
These few days in Hong Kong I went into quite a number of bookstores. There are so many news books on display are those books teaching people how to make money and how to have power. I saw so many famous faces in all kinds of fields making people to believe that once you buy that book you can acquire the mind of those people to become wealthy and famous.
Here in this chapter Paul stressed the importance of having the mind of Christ and not other things. He taught us that only the Holy Spirit can help us to have that kind of spiritual discernment and to have the mind of Christ. That is the path to true Christlikeness!
There is no way to have the mind of Christ if you are not fill with the Holy Spirit for your life cannot demonstrate the power of the Holy Spirit(v. 4). You desperately need the Holy Spirit!
Come Holy Spirit come,
Come and fill me that I can have a better chance to have the mind of Christ. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
