Be careful, however, that the exercise of your freedom does not become a stumbling block to the weak. 1 Corinthians 8: 9
What I heard from Jesus today is: Don't be a stumbling block!
Watch out, watch out, watch out! There are lot of people as how Paul described as weak. Our improper actions may cause lots of misunderstanding and may cause some people to lose their faith.
You must be thinking about what are those examples. Well, I can't give you many because that's the relationship with you and Jesus. If the relationship is good then the Holy Spirit will give you some uneasy feeling when you do those things. If the relationship with the Lord is not good then you would be less and less sensitive to all kinds of warning from the Holy Spirit. Instead you would be more and more easily tempted to sin.
Watch out, don't be a stumbling block!
Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank you for anointing us to be the ambassador of reconciliation. Help us to enjoy this role to bring more people to you and not to be a stumbling block that people won't believe in you because of our improper actions. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
