So then, men ought to regard us as servants of Christ and as those entrusted with the secret things of God. Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful. 1 Corinthians 4: 1-2
What I heard from Jesus today is: How to prove you are faithful?
Well, my original blog started the Book of Job three days ago. What Job experienced was a good example to prove how faithful he was. Here in this chapter Paul was talking about similar things:
1. Don't judge (vv. 3- 5)
2. Don't compare (vv. 6- 7)
3. Don't take the role as king and lord of your own life (vv. 8 - 10)
4. Willing to experience sufferings (vv. 11- 13)
5. Have coaches and mentors to imitate and be a good example for others to imitate (vv. 14 - 17)
6. Don't be arrogant (v. 18)
7. Don't just talk the talk but walk the walk and to demonstrate the power of the Holy Spirit (vv. 19-21)
Have you been proved of your faithfulness yet? Are you ready for the test to come?
Dear Lord Jesus,
We are your servants, help us to prepare ourselves that we can go through all those tests to prove that we are faithful. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
