For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But if anyone does not have them, he is nearsighted and blind, and has forgotten that he has been cleansed from his past sins.

2 Peter 1: 8-9

What I heard from Jesus today is: Ineffective, unproductive, blind!

Is it talking about you? Don't say NO so fast please. There is a check list in front of these two verses. Check it yourself to see if you have those quality of Christlikeness(v. 4 the divine nature): add to your faith, goodness, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, brotherly kindness and love.

Dear Lord Jesus,

We watch to see! Help us to be an effective and productive disciples of yours. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
