What I heard from Jesus today is: There is no fear in love!
Last Sunday during my sermon I gave our brothers and sisters a challenge to count how many times the words "Light" and "Love" appears in John's writing: Gospel of John, 1,2, 3 John and Revelation. It is because we are having a two weeks sermon series on John and I received from the Lord that the most important words for John's life are "light" and "love". You may be surprised if you do this exercise!
John was being called Jesus' beloved apostle and he was the one closest to Jesus. Jesus is light. God is love. I think that's why the two most important words repeated and repeated are these two words "light" and "love".
There are so many things in this world lead us to fear, worry, can't sleep, depressed, unable to make a choice and pull us into darkness. Be close to Jesus to be loved by Him and you can love with no fear. Then you will not be in darkness but in light, everyday!
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be able to love with no fear. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
