And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.

1 John 5: 11-13

What I heard from Jesus today is: Experiencing Jesus is eternal life!

John did not say "God will give us eternal life" but "God has given us eternal life". You don't need to see if you can go to heaven or not until you die. Eternal life starts when you experience Jesus as your Savior and Lord! That's why we need to be in a daily intimate personal relationship with Jesus. Because that is eternal life! The sign of whether you are really experiencing Jesus is whether you can love God and His children(v. 1-3). Can you love God and His children? Can you LOVE?

Dear Lord Jesus,

Help us to experience you and be willing to have a daily intimate personal relationship with you. And, help us to love you and your children. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
