They promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity - for a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him. If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus christ and are again entangled in it and overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning. It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them.

2 Peter 2: 19

What I heard from Jesus today is: Who master you?

What I heard from Jesus today is you have only two choices:

1. You are willing to be a slave to Jesus that He master you as your Lord or,

2. You are a slave to those who master you, lording you life, controlling you lifestyle and leading you to "turn your back" to the teaching of the Bible. This is the main job of those false teachers, the unrighteous and this is the trick of the Devil that you can be mastered by other things but not Jesus.

Who master you?

Dear Lord Jesus,

You are my Lord, my Master, my Savior, come and lead me. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
