After all Jesus teachings, his miracles and His telling people that in him there is true rest and authority, here in this passage tells us that he is God's true servant, the Messiah. It's from Isaiah 42, one of the fours servants songs about the character of the coming Messiah.
In the beginning of the ministry of John the Baptist and Jesus they both said:
Repent, for the Kingdom of God is near.
In today's passage, we've got a new stage because Jesus said:
The Kingdom of God has come upon you.
Yes, Jesus is Lord! Those who walk with Jesus, listen and obey to Jesus, enjoy Jesus presence each day, the kingdom of God has come to them.
Has the King come upon you yet?

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage of scripture we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe"

What I heard from Jesus today is: The Kingdom has come upon you!
What I got today from Jesus is a confirmation that the Kingdom of God has come upon us.
Today when I was in a public bus in Kowloon I saw a huge message on the wall of a building stating the most important message in life:
Jesus is Lord
I am so glad that someone or a church dares to spend quite an amount of money to put that on the wall reminding Christians that Jesus is Lord and giving a message to those who have not yet received Jesus as Lord that Jesus is Lord. Wonderful!
If Jesus is really your Lord each day then the Kingdom has come upon you!
