Silence
1. Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence
2. Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.
Praise and Thanksgiving
1. Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2. Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."
Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)
1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in you:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe"

My Listening
Today's all passages give us a clear picture of the life or death difference of a hardened heart or a child's heart.
If you have a hardened heart then you would like Pharaoh missed so many chances to let go of the Israelites. When the disaster is over, like Pharaoh, our hearts would be hardened again, not listening to God's command, not yielding to His lead and always say, "No, No, No. Not me!"
But when we have a child's heart, then we will experience God as our rock, our stronghold, our castle, our Saviour, our shield and our God. We will say to God each day, "I love you Lord!" Our lives will be blessed because we will be like little child, always want to be in the arms of our father!
What kind of heart do you have now? Hardened heart? A child's heart?

Dear Lord Jesus,
Embrace me as your precious child each morning that we can enjoy each day in your protection and provision as our Abba Father. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Reflect on these questions:
1. What kind of heart do you think you have recently?
2. What is the action that you need to have each day in order that you have a child's heart ?
2. What is the action that you need to have each day in order that you have a child's heart ?
3. What have you got from Jesus today?
