Silence
1. Put on your “brakes” and stop for a moment of silence
2. Wait for God. Breathe deep for God's peace and feel His presence. Exhale your worries.
Praise and Thanksgiving
1. Think through your day, all the times that made you smile
2. Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."
Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)
1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in you:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe"

My Listening
Jesus says, "Are you envious because I am generous?"
Is that talking about you?
Today's most striking message is about how workers envious because their boss is generous to other people.
"It's not fair!", this saying happens quite often in families, work place and
churches. "It's not fair that he treats that person better than me. I have served him longer than that guy!" "It's not fair that my father loves my younger brother than me!"
Today's all passages help us to go back to the sovereignty of God and the pride and hardened heart of human kind. We need to acknowledge that we are not humble enough that we can not worship and serve God as we should be. The consequence is we are always comparing with other people. Envious!
If we are willing to worship God and Jesus is Lord and King, how come people could challenge God's generosity and thinking that God is not fair, the pastor is not fair, parents are not fair, teachers are not fair....
May we follow God's generosity to see people and things as good, to appreciate and praise other people rather than act as judge envious other people!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be more and more generous and not envy any more. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Reflect on these questions:
1. Do you think you have this problem of "envious"?
2. What is the next step for you to appreciate people more and not to envious other people ?
2. What is the next step for you to appreciate people more and not to envious other people ?
3. What have you got from Jesus today?
Let us praise the Lord:
