"If a man steals an ox or a sheep and slaughters it or sells it, he must pay back five head of cattle for the ox and four sheep for the sheep." Exodus 22: 1
What I got from Jesus today is: God said so, we follow through!
Why not pay back four head of cattle for the ox and three sheep for the sheep. Why not seven head and five sheep. What Jesus told me today is very simple, "That's the way to train my people to understand and experience listen and obey. Nothing more and nothing less!"
God had a way to train His people through the Ten Commandments and the Moses' law and they just needed to follow. Just like how we follow the law in our countries. God has His new ways to train us to listen and obey. Do you know it? Have you experienced it? Are you willing to follow through?
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to receive your way of training us to listen and obey and to be willing to follow through. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
