As long as Moses held up his hands, the Israelites were winning, but whenever he lowered his hands, the Amalekites were winning. When Moses' hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under himand he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up - one on one side, one on the other - so that his hands remained steady till sunset. So Joshua overcame the Amalekite army with the sword.
Exodus 17:11-13
What I got from Jesus today is: To pray is everything!
What do you think would happen if Moses did not pray like that? What do you think would happen if Moses did not have Aaron and Hur to hold up his hands to pray?
You may think that you have done a lot to secure for a sure win and a great success. But if you do not know how to pray like Moses did you may never taste the power of victory.
To pray is everything!
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to pray more knowing that to pray is everything. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
