"I am your brother Joseph, the one you sold into Egypt! And now, do not be distressed and do not be angry with yourselves for selling me here, because it was to save lives that God sent me ahead of you." Genesis 45: 4-5

What I got from Jesus today is: God first!

You may think that Joseph was a "superman". How could he not angry at his brothers for what they did to him? How could he really forgive them?

I know why he could do that because he always put God first. Because of his personal intimate relationship with God his anger was being washed away replaced by understanding, forgiving and loving!

It was this kind of love to revive his father's spirit as describes in verse 27. If you always put God first then someday someone's dark spirit may be revived by your forgiving love!

God first! No matter what!

Dear Lord Jesus,

Help us to put you first always that we have a better chance to be more like you to forgive and love. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
