Bible Study
This passage is about Jesus being challenged by the chief priests, the teachers of the law and the elders of Jesus authority. "Who do you think you are?" was how those authorities trying to ask and trapped Jesus to make a mistake. Jesus wisdom leads him to give a perfect answer that they could not do anything to him.
Who do you think Jesus is?
How can you make Jesus known to those you know?
Have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage of scripture we have just read. Offer this time up to God as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe"
Spiritual Journal
What I heard from Jesus today is: Who do you think you are?
Today Jesus asks us this question of our identity, "Who do you think you are?"
For those who follow Jesus, we are anointed by the Holy Spirit and given authority to do His Kingdom ministries under His direction. Do you know who you are so that you can exercise those authority to preach, to drive out demons and to heal? Do you know you have authority to free people from darkness and lead people to Jesus? How do you exercise those authorities?
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to know who we are and have courage to exercise the authority given by you to free others from darkness and to lead them to you. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
