Please join our new Mentor 123 campaign starting this coming Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013!

What you need to do is to find two more people meeting once a week for three months, encouraging each others to have daily devotion - a daily intimate personal relationship with Jesus!

To create a momentum to this new yearly campaign I am going to start a new blog and podcast on that day. I will direct my two blogs and podcasts to that new site to have a 40 days BREAK.BUILD daily devotion. For a preliminary format please go to this site: http://www.breakbuild.blogspot.ca/ .

You can see the layout and titles of all 40 days. Come on , let's get two more people to start a daily tasting of Jesus wonderful banquet specially prepared for us!

Bible Study

This passage consists of two parables about the importance of faith and prayers. It is so often because of continuous crisis and sufferings we lose faith and stop to pray. But Jesus tells us that we need to keep on praying trusting that we will be vindicated after all the sufferings and attack.
     N.T. Wright says:
These two parables together make a powerful statement about what, in Paul's language, is called 'justification by faith'.  The wider context is the final lawcourt, in which God's chosen people will be vindicated after their life of suffering, holiness and service.  Though enemies outside and inside may denounce and attack them, God will act and show that they truly are his people.

Are you in the midst of suffering and attack? Don't worry, time will come to prove that you are God's chosen servant!

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage of scripture we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe"

Spiritual Journal

What I heard from Jesus today is: How to experience justification by faith?

What I received from Jesus today is a very useful way for us to overcome our suffering and the attack from other people. Don't lose heart, pray on and you will be vindicated in God's time.
The main problem is still about our relationship with Jesus and how close can we be with Jesus. It is so often that we lose heart and fall into the "black hole" of darkness unable to come out when we are in severe suffering or attack. Lots of Christians cannot pray, they cannot sleep, cannot eat and some of them even leave their faith. When those suffering and attack comes, we need to know that they are all challenges to bring us to a closer relationship with Jesus. And, an opportunity for us to experience what Paul says "justification by faith". Are you ready to take those challenges?

Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to be able to take those challenges trusting that we will be vindicated by you in your good time.  In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
