Please join our new Mentor 123 campaign starting this coming Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013!
What you need to do is to find two more people meeting once a week for three months, encouraging each others to have daily devotion - a daily intimate personal relationship with Jesus!
To create a momentum to this new yearly campaign I am going to start a new blog and podcast on that day. I will direct my two blogs and podcasts to that new site to have a 40 days BREAK.BUILD daily devotion. For a preliminary format please go to this site: http://www.breakbuild.blogspot.ca/ .
You can see the layout and titles of all 40 days. Come on , let's get two more people to start a daily tasting of Jesus wonderful banquet specially prepared for us!

Today's passage gives us a most horrible picture from Jesus prophesy that the symbol of the presence of God, the temple is going to be destroyed. And, not even one stone will be left standing on another. You can see the two pictures I took two weeks ago in the place where the temple should be that the stone is the only one left to be seen. All the other stones are gone!
Jerusalem is more than White House and the Statue of Liberty to the American people. Can you imagine if one day that two buildings are being destroyed, how devastating it could be to the American people as well as to the whole world.
So, what could that be similar to you? Your job? You family? Your health? Your wealth? What happen if some of that or all of that is gone? What happen if one day all Christians would be chased and killed like the time Jesus said two thousand years ago? Can you still have the peace to live each day experiencing Emmanuel?
N.T. Wright says:
The main thing Jesus wants them to learn is that there will be a period of waiting, when they will have to be patient through dangerous and testing times...
The story of the first generation of Christianity - the time between the resurrection of Jesus and the fall of the Temple in AD70 - bears out these prophecies. And many early Christians would testify that Jesus had indeed been with them and given them words to say.
How can Jesus be with you in that kind of devastating situation? Where could Jesus be?

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage of scripture we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe"

What I heard from Jesus today is: Where could Jesus be when everything falls?
Today Jesus gives me a serious question to ponder. I have seen too many cases that Christians lost all their faith because something happened and they could not be able to cope with.
Actually the answer is where is Jesus when that happen? How willing are you to stand firm trusting that Jesus has not left you and to face the challenge. It's not good to say that you are with Jesus everyday only on good and sunny days. If we have a true intimate personal relationship with Jesus then those rainy days or even days of earthquake will be those days that you will feel the true intimate personal relationship with Jesus. Do you agree?
