Please join our new Mentor 123 campaign starting this coming Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013!
What you need to do is to find two more people meeting once a week for three months, encouraging each others to have daily devotion - a daily intimate personal relationship with Jesus!
To create a momentum to this new yearly campaign I am going to start a new blog and podcast on that day. I will direct my two blogs and podcasts to that new site to have a 40 days BREAK.BUILD daily devotion. For a preliminary format please go to this site: http://www.breakbuild.blogspot.ca/ .
You can see the layout and titles of all 40 days. Come on , let's get two more people to start a daily tasting of Jesus wonderful banquet specially prepared for us!

Bible Study
This passage consists of two events. The first one is Jesus says if we do not return like little children, we cannot enter into kingdom of heaven. The second one is a continuation to explain what does the relationship of little children means with the example of the rich young ruler that he could not leave what he loved the most to follow Jesus.
Are you a little child or are you the rich young ruler?
What have you left to follow Jesus? What are those things that Jesus is calling you to leave but you have not left?
Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage of scripture we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe"

What I heard from Jesus today is: What have you left to follow Jesus?
What I received from Jesus today is a personal and relational question. A question to see whether we are really following Jesus.
The best example is to copy and paste what I wrote in my Devotion on Fire 2 blog yesterday. Here it is:
What I received from Jesus today is a question to examine our true relationship with Jesus. How important it is ? Very, very important. See how Jesus describes the life or death of this relationship:
1. Unless you change
2. You will never enter into the kingdom of heaven
Wow! Got it?
Remember what John the Baptist and Jesus' first word?
"Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near!"
What is the age that a child become uncontrollable? Well, it depends. You can get a nine years old boy points a machine gun to you in some part of Africa.
So, if you really have repent, then you would like a little child hanging around Jesus everyday. I am becoming more and more like that! Bishop William, the bishop of Congo that I am having his license, told us three weeks ago when he was signing our licenses in the AMiA Winter Conference. He said, "Many people told me that I do not looks like a bishop, I look like a little child. I don't mind, I am like a little child, that's me." Then he gave us a big, big smile!
Let's repent, change and become little children!
Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to be more and more close to you like little children. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to be more and more close to you like little children. And help us to have the faith and courage to leave everything you want us to leave so that we can follow you. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
