The easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week. What you need to do is very simple. Choose one dayThe easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week to pray for me, my family and my ministry, remembering the ministry of ACiC(ACiC has two Networks: ACiC, Anglican Coalition in Canada and AI, Asian Initiative). You may use the whole hour in prayer or you can still do you work in your office but use as much time as you can to pray and the other time work prayerfully that hour to pray for our ministry. This campaign is also to teach you that you need somebody to pray for you daily. I have been prayed for hourly the past 1,200 days and I have never experienced this kind of peace and protection before. It's just beyond words can express. If I did not listen and obey to Jesus call 1,200 days ago to start this prayer movement, I think I would be pulled into darkness and discouragement already! I deeply believe that this is a way to draw as many participation as we can in prayers. I encourage you to participate. We need you to join us! Trust in the power of prayers!

Bible Study

Today's passage gives us a clearer picture than the one yesterday of what was going to happen to Jerusalem. When that happened, those who were able to get out and run while there was time should do so. They did not have a duty to stay in Jerusalem. But the main purpose of Jesus' prophecy is not to tell people what would happen to Jerusalem and tell them to run away. N.T. Wright gives us a good explanation:
The best way of understanding this passage in Luke is then to see it as the promise that, when the Jerusalem that had opposed his message is finally overthrown, this will be the vindication of Jesus and his people, the sign that he has indeed been enthroned at his Father's side in heaven(Luke 20:42-43).  Luke does, of course, believe in the 'second coming' of Jesus, but this passage is not about that.  It is about the vindication of Jesus and the rescue of his people from the system that has oppressed them.
Here, then, are the signs that the disciples are to look for.  God's kingdom has come near, and God's city has rejected it; the fulfilment of the kingdom will involve the destruction of the city. All must take place within a generation, because Jesus is after all the last prophet; once the vineyard-owner has sent the son, he has no other messenger left (20:13).

If you have been oppressed by someone or some people because of Jesus, you need not worry. Vindication will come in God's good time!

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage of scripture we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe"

Spiritual Journal

What I heard from Jesus today is: Don't worry when you are being oppressed by some people!

Today Jesus gives me a comfort to live each day a peaceful and joyful day. For the past many years, I have experienced quite a number of oppression from one person or a group of people. In the past 17 months, AMiA has been facing with lots of oppression from originally friendly leaders. We have been wounded by friendly fire!

Yet, I have seen many of those who oppressed people suffered great destruction just like what happened to Jerusalem. Those who killed will eat their own fruit! What we need to do is to have faith in the Lord and do not lose heart. God's vindication may come in no time.

Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to follow you closely trusting that you have your own time to give us vindication. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
