Please join our new Mentor 123 campaign starting this coming Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013!
What you need to do is to find two more people meeting once a week for three months, encouraging each others to have daily devotion - a daily intimate personal relationship with Jesus!
To create a momentum to this new yearly campaign I am going to start a new blog and podcast on that day. I will direct my two blogs and podcasts to that new site to have a 40 days BREAK.BUILD daily devotion. For a preliminary format please go to this site: http://www.breakbuild.blogspot.ca/ .
You can see the layout and titles of all 40 days. Come on , let's get two more people to start a daily tasting of Jesus wonderful banquet specially prepared for us!

Bible Study
This is the famous passage about how Jesus accepted a well-known sinner, a chief tax collector, Zacchaeus and how Zacchaeus received Jesus salvation and changed right away. N.T. Wright says:
Luke tells this story as a kind of balance to the sad tale of the rich young ruler in the previous chapter, and uses it as the final piece of framing before Jesus approaches Jerusalem. This kind of healing, this kind of new life, he seems to be saying, is what Jesus has come to bring. If only people in Jerusalem could see the point and make a similar response!
Repentance here isn't just a change of heart; as in Judaism in general, repentance involves restoration, making amends. Zacchaeus is determined to do so lavishly. He doesn't offer to sell all his property, nor does Jesus demand it. But y the time he'd given half of it away, and made fourfold restitution where necessary, we can imagine that he would find himself in seriously reduced circumstances.
He doesn't care. He has found something more valuable.
How do you make a similar response as Zacchaeus to allow Jesus to start your restoration process?
Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage of scripture we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe"

What I heard from Jesus today is: How do you allow Jesus to start the restoration process?
What I received from Jesus today is an invitation for Him to start the restoration process as He did to Zacchaeus.
It all starts with repentance! With true repentance comes with true changes then restoration will happen.
How do you allow Jesus to start the restoration process in you? Or you think that you are fine and you do not need that?
Don't forget that we are all sinners! We all need that!
Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to enter into the process of your restoration to be a better disciple of yours. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
