What you need to do is to find two more people meeting once a week for three months, encouraging each others to have daily devotion - a daily intimate personal relationship with Jesus!

This passage is one of the two passages about Jesus weeping. The other one is in John 11:35 about he wept at the tomb of Lazarus.
Jesus knew what would happen to Jerusalem that in not a long time the whole city would be destroyed. N.T. Wright says:
When you reflect on Jesus' words and deeds of judgment, don't forget the tears. And remember, with awe, that if Luke 19:11-27 is indeed about Jesus embodying the long-awaited return of God to Zion, those tears are not just the human reaction to a sad and frustrating situation. They are the tears of the God of love.
Do you know Jesus may be weeping because of your heart of stone, your not willing to change to be more like Him? Have you wept for those relative and friends around you who reject Jesus' salvation? What can you do to lead them to Jesus?
Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage of scripture we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe"

What I heard from Jesus today is: Is Jesus weeping for you?
When I was writing and recording yesterday's blog and podcast, I wept for more than an hour. And today, we come to this passage of Jesus weeping!
What I got from Jesus is a question for you:
Is Jesus weeping for you?
What is your answer? How much do you need to change in order that He is not weeping for you but smiling on you? How could you weep more for the others so that you can have a burning heart to lead more people to Jesus?
