Today's passage gives us detail description of Jesus' resurrection yet nobody got it.

N.T. Wright says:
It sometimes seems impossible for people to believe what they are being told...We can't, as we say, 'hear' them; that is, we hear the sound the words make, but they don't go any further than our eardrums.
Jesus had spoken of his own resurrection at various stages, from 9.22 onwards. Two of his greatest stories had ended with a strong reference to rising from the dead (15.24, 32; 16.31). But nobody had 'hear what he was saying...
No doubt our own resurrection will be as much of a surprise, in its own way, as that of Jesus. From the beginning, the gospel is good news not least because it dares to tell us things we didn't expect, weren't inclined to believe, and couldn't understand.

Is there something Jesus keeps on telling you but you have not been listening because you do not expect it really works?

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage of scripture we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe"

What I heard from Jesus today is: They get it now! How about you?

Yesterday I was chatting with my son Ignatius. He was talking about the hard work of meeting two high school youth every Thursday after school to teach them daily devotion using my English podcast. It is such a good and satisfied feeling that my son believe in what I deeply believe. And that is, one of the most important jobs as a disciple of Jesus is to be a discipler raising up more disciples of Jesus and then helping them to be disciplers, evangelists, mentors and church planters. He has been spending his time every Thursday going to a high school to be with that two young people since Last December. But, when I asked him whether that two young people have daily devotion now. You know what Ignatius said, "Of course not yet, it is a change of lifestyle. It needs a lot of time." I said, "You mean they only have daily devotion when you are with them for the past four months?" "Yes, just that. They will soon get it. Just like another high school youth said it is so easy to spend hours in playing computer games but it is so difficult to have 15 minutes to be with Jesus. That's the reality. That's our job to help them to acquire that new lifestyle to spend more time with Jesus daily."

Do you understand what I mean now? Jesus talked and talked about His resurrection but no one listened. Are you listening to Jesus that He wants to be with you daily and already give authority to you that you can help more people to be with Him daily. Are you listening? Have you gotten it?

Six more days for my new blog and podcast to start. It's somewhat like we are all going to a 40 days Life Renewal Camp hopefully after that camp we'll have a revival and a renewed lifestyle to be more close to Jesus and to be more like Him.

I have been praying for a few weeks asking Jesus to reveal to me who are those two persons He prepares for me to lead, having a weekly one hour gathering for three months as a mentor to lead them into a deeper relationship with Jesus. Praise the Lord I saw two faces during my prayer time a few days ago and I invited them to join me into the coming Mentor123 Campaign starting this coming Sunday. They agreed and we will start our weekly meeting this Saturday. How wonderful!

Well, the women and later Jesus' disciples got the message at last that Jesus was going to die and resurrected. Are you willing to die a part of your time to pray to Jesus revealing to you faces of two people so that you know who to invite. And, start the Mentor123 process for three months. I can assure you that it will be very effective!

Dear Lord Jesus,

Help us to understand that Mentor123 Campaign is an invitation from you and lead us to take this opportunity to invite those two persons you have prepared for us to be with you for three months. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
