Bible Study

This is another interesting passage after the last one. We know that Paul was right and it is so sad to know that everyone did not listen to what Paul said.
But, why should those people listen to Paul? A prisoner, a schola and a crazy disciple of Jesus.

So, how could those people believe in Paul? They needed a major crisis and Paul could show his gift and power for them to believe. If you are a captain who want to be a general, pray for a few big, big warfare. And, if you do not die and can show your leadership. You might be able to become a general.

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage of scripture we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe"

Spiritual Journal

What I heard from Jesus today is: Why do we have to listen to you?

What I received from Jesus is a secret to face your next crisis.

Today I baptized a 93 years old gentleman, Mr. Ching Chau Yaung. His daughter Sherla is one of our parishioners who has been praying for him for quite some years. Sherla's mother died a few months ago and Mr. Yaung has been in sadness for months. Sherla got hold of this crisis and opportunity to lead her father to receive Jesus as his Lord and Savior. Then I went to the hospital to baptist him this morning.

Why do people have to listen to you? No, they don't. Unless they have seen how God did His miraculous works through you and they will listen to you and trust you. So, you need to be excited and give thanks to the Lord when a crisis come. Always be prepared and do not panic. A crisis is an opportunity, always!

Dear Lord Jesus,                                                                                 Lead us to receive your peace and strength in the midst of a crisis so that you can work through us to open people's eyes to see you and be willing to listen to you.   In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
