Bible Study

      Today's passage shows the act of God on human rebellious in a vast scale, a national scale. Do you think similar thing could happen in nowadays if God's people are willing to say YES SIR to God? I think so, if we have that kind of obedience as Moses and Aaron did. Just two are enough? Yes, just two are enough! What a surprise!

Let's take a look at what Professor John Goldingay says (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Goldingay) :

    

       Exodus is about the God of the Hebrews intervening in the political, military, and social affairs of Egypt.  God is interfering in its political policies in the way it handles an immigrant community such as the Israelites. ..While God is going to be active as a warrior, taking on the military might of the Egyptian war machine at the Reed Sea, God is also lord of nature.  That is how not only Genesis but also Exodus began…

      Nothing happened for 430 years, and just the obedience of two servants of God, everything changed. Just two servants of God are enough to change a nation? What has it to do with you?

    The title I heard from Jesus today is: Just two are enough to change a nation

    What I receive from Jesus today is to tell you how important you are and how useful to God you can be. If you just enter into that kind of intimate relationship with God and let God to use you as He used Moses and Aaron.

    Lots of time we think that we are not important. Without the participation into God's work for just one person, "me", it should not be a big deal.

    Wrong! You can be a Moses or Aaron. Rise up soldiers of God, rise up!

    Fall in!

    Learn from this passage that just two are enough to change a nation! 

    It needs to start with you! It needs to start today, not tomorrow! You need to do just one thing as a start, the thing God has been telling you to do for a while but because of your lack of faith and your poor relationship with God, you have not done yet. Do it now!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to understand how important each one of us can be. Lead us to follow Moses and Aaron's example to do just as you command us to do. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
