Bible Study

      Today's passage shows a major turning point in the life of Moses. From lots and lots of excuses, lots of NO to a simple and direct YES SIR. Moses and his people are willing to become God's army and fall in to a military formation in later time.

      The total obedience as soldiers to their commander in a direct saying, "Yes Sir!"  appears in verse 6 and 10. 

      Opposite to the "Yes, Sir" is a description about Pharaoh: "I will harden Pharaoh's heart" (v. 3) "Pharaoh's heart became hard and he would not listen to them." (v. 13)

      How about your heart? Hardened? Or, obedient?

    The title I heard from Jesus today is: From NO to YES SIR

    What I receive from Jesus today is a call to examine our hearts today. Whether we are more like Pharaoh or Moses. How willing are we to say YES SIR to our Lord?

     If you are facing similar obstacles like Moses and Aaron, do you have that personal trusting relationship to say YES SIR to do something "crazy" and "mighty" as Moses and Aaron did?

     Have you been saying too many "NO" to Jesus recently? Why don't you just simple say, "YES SIR!" and be a real soldier in God's mighty army?

     From NO to YES SIR is not so difficult after all, right?  

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be willing to say YES SIR to you when you give us your order. Holy Spirit, pours down your fresh anointing on us that we are able to help more people to fall in to your designated military formation and be able to say YES SIR to you. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
