What if the Israelites did not listen to what God commanded and did not put the blood of those lambs on their door frames? Well, I guess they would face the same fate as those Egyptians, right?

Let's take a look at what Professor John Goldingay says (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Goldingay) :

The strange aspect of the event is the daubing of blood on the door.  God is about to bring about that last terrible catastrophe, killing the firstborn throughout Egypt.  The blood on the door will mark this as a home God can "pass over"; it is marked as an Israelite home.  Excuse me, does God not know which are Israelite homes (and anyway, are the Israelites not all together in that ghetto in Goshen)? Well, maybe, but it often seems God prefers to look and see rather than rely on omniscience, as at the Babel Tower and at Sodom.  In calling this a sign "for you," however, Exodus also hints at the significance of daubing the blood for the people  It is their proclamation of who they are; they mark themselves as Israelites and not Egyptians.  Further, it reassures them they will be safe when the ax falls and God lets the Destroyer do his work.

You need to be inside a home with blood of the lamb on the door frame. Is you home protected by the blood of Christ? Is your church protected by the blood of Christ?

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe":  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmax47l2hLU

The title I heard from Jesus today is: Is your home and church protected by the blood of Christ

What I receive from Jesus today is a new thought. What is the condition that the home or church of Christians not being protected by the blood of Christ? Well, first of all, you need to declare just like those Israelites declaring their home to be homes of Israelites. They don't declare, they died! We don't declare, God has His own ways to deal with us, or just let the Destroyers of Satan to come in so that we are in a big mess and start to send out SOS signal to God for help.

I have seen too many homes and churches not being put on the blood of the lamb on their door frames. Their homes are full of idols, their lifestyle inside that home is just like any place worldly non-believers live, a club or even vipers den! And so as many churches!

How can you help your home and church protected by the blood of Christ?

First step, pray each day for the blood of Christ to cover your home and your home church. Then, the Holy Spirit will tell you the second step. Trust me, your prayers will be like those Israelites putting the blood of the lamb on the door frame. Then, you will know the second step in later time.

Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to start praying for Your Blood to cover our homes and churches so that we will be protected by you to do your Kingdom ministry.  In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
