Update  for Leslie Friday July 19, 2013:
Leslie will be going home next week. I visited him today seeing him watching his younger sister Arale playing video games and could walked to the toilet himself with his mom's help. The only thing we worry is that he still can't eat and needs the tube to go through his nose to give him nutrition daily. He needs to learn how to eat in a month's time. Let's pray on till he can be completely recover and that Kenny can receive Jesus as his Savior and Lord and that he is willing to come to our Alpha Course in September and then baptized in December.

Bible Study

Today's passage gives us a similar scene as in Acts 7 of how Stephen told his story. The content is somewhat different. Stephen did not tell his own story of being born again but to tell the rebellious story of the Israelites. Paul started with his story of being born again and concluded with his own story of experiencing God.

The result is different. Stephen died and Paul survived.

The question is, if you were Paul, do you think you can catch that moment and be brave to tell your story of being born again even you think it won't work?

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage of scripture we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe"

Spiritual Journal

What I heard from Jesus today is: How well can you tell your story of being born again?

What I received from Jesus is a question of our readiness to tell our own story of experiencing God. I can think of four kinds of people:
1. There is no story to tell about Jesus at all.

2. They always tell their story of being born again but do not have new story of experiencing God.  It seems that they are living in the past without any new spiritual renewal happening.

3. They feel that they are done with their story of being born again. They don't want to repeat that again and again. But, they don't have lots of new stories to tell.

4. They know when to share their old stories and when to share their new stories. They have lots of stories to tell about how they experience God.

What kind of Christian you are? How important it is to be the fourth category?

Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to be able to share whatever you want us to share any time and anywhere.  In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
