      This is a passage to show how Paul wisely and courageously made his defence before King Agrippa. Historically we have not doubt that Jesus is being resurrected and He is the Messiah. But, to those Jews they did not believe that even though that had been their hope for hundreds of years for the coming of the Messiah.

     Paul told King Agrippa that the reason for those people to accuse him is because of that hope. They were not willing to link up their hope and Jesus together. They did not believe that God raised up Jesus and He is the Messiah.

     How about you? Do you believe Jesus is a living God? Have you been experiencing Him as a living God? How well have you been doing to lead more people to experience Him as a living God? 

                    

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage of scripture we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe"

    What I heard from Jesus today is: Is Jesus a living God?

   

    I have to tell this horrible and shocking experience again to go with today's message. 11 years ago I was summoned by a leader somewhat like Paul was summoned by Festus and King Agrippa. I was being asked why I could not follow a decision that everyone was going to make. I pulled out my spiritual journal and read to him at least five different posts that Jesus asked me to tell him that he made a big mistake. He said, "Silas, are you telling me that in this modern age there is someone who can listen to what Jesus is saying? Impossible!"

     The difference between a dead church and a living church is whether we believe and continuously experiencing a living God. God and the Church has become such a historical event and a past tense. People going to church are like going to a museum, remembering and living in the past glorious and golden time.

     When you go to your church, are you going to a museum? Is Jesus a living God? How well have you been experiencing Jesus talking to you each day?  

Dear Lord Jesus,                                                                                 Lead us to experience your presence and we can really be able to talk to you each day.  In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
