12 以 色 列 人 又 行 耶 和 華 眼 中 看 為 惡 的 事 ， 耶 和 華 就 使 摩 押 王 伊 磯 倫 強 盛 ， 攻 擊 以 色 列 人 。
13 伊 磯 倫 招 聚 亞 捫 人 和 亞 瑪 力 人 ， 去 攻 打 以 色 列 人 ， 佔 據 棕 樹 城 。
14 於 是 以 色 列 人 服 事 摩 押 王 伊 磯 倫 十 八 年 。

27 到 了 ， 就 在 以 法 蓮 山 地 吹 角 。 以 色 列 人 隨 著 他 下 了 山 地 ， 他 在 前 頭 引 路 ，
28 對 他 們 說 ： 你 們 隨 我 來 ， 因 為 耶 和 華 已 經 把 你 們 的 仇 敵 摩 押 人 交 在 你 們 手 中 。 於 是 他 們 跟 著 他 下 去 ， 把 守 約 但 河 的 渡 口 ， 不 容 摩 押 一 人 過 去 。
29 那 時 擊 殺 了 摩 押 人 約 有 一 萬 ， 都 是 強 壯 的 勇 士 ， 沒 有 一 人 逃 脫 。

My Listening
Yesterday we talked about when the Israelites did what was evil in the sight of God and God gave them to their enemies for 8 years. Then they cried out to God and He gave them Othniel and the Israelites had peace for 40 years.
Today we read this sad cycle to happen again. The Israelites started to do things evil in the sight of God again after peace for 40 days. Then God gave them to their enemies for 18 years. And, when they cried out to God, God gave them Ehud. A man who was not able in the sight of the Israelites. Ehud turned everything around and the Israelites had peace for 80 years. 80 years! Double what Othniel did!

God is not bound by ableism…Ehud couldn't use his right hand. It is thus ironical that he was a Benjaminite, because Benjamin means "son of the right hand." He couldn't even live up to his own clan's name. While the description might simply mean he was left-handed, the form of expression suggests a disability, but his inability to use his right hand becomes God's means of making him Israel's deliverer…God uses a disabled man and uses a gruesome story about a disabled man.

Actually to experience this is so simple according to Judges. Don't do the things evil in the sight of God. Cry out to God and He will send someone to help you. Cry out to God and you would be the one He send to turn everything around.
May be today you feel you are not able to do the things you need to do or helpless or even hopeless. First, you need to turn away from those things evil to God if you have any. Second, cry out to God and He will come to lift you up.
