Please join our new Mentor 123 campaign starting this coming Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013!
What you need to do is to find two more people meeting once a week for three months, encouraging each others to have daily devotion - a daily intimate personal relationship with Jesus!
To create a momentum to this new yearly campaign I am going to start a new blog and podcast on that day. I will direct my two blogs and podcasts to that new site to have a 40 days BREAK.BUILD daily devotion. For a preliminary format please go to this site: http://www.breakbuild.blogspot.ca/ .
You can see the layout and titles of all 40 days. Come on , let's get two more people to start a daily tasting of Jesus wonderful banquet specially prepared for us!

Bible Study
This passage is to conclude Jesus' parable of the Prodigal Son and other parables before that. N.T. Wright says:
The ending gives us a clue, picking up where, a chapter earlier, the story of the father and his two sons had ended. 'Neither will they be convinced, even if someone were to rise from the dead'; 'this your brother was dead, and is alive again'. The older brother in the earlier story is very like the rich man in this: both want to keep the poor, ragged brother or neighbour out of sight and out of mind. Jesus, we recall, has been criticized for welcoming outcasts and sinners; now it appears that what he's doing is putting into practice in the present world what, it was widely believed, would happen in the future one. 'On earth as it is in heaven' remains his watchword. The age to come must be anticipated in the present.
The point is then that the Pharisees, being themselves lovers of money, were behaving to the people Jesus was welcoming exactly like the rich man was behaving to Lazarus. And, just as the steward was to be put out of his stewardship, and was commended for taking action in the nick of time to prevent total disaster, so the Pharisees, and anyone else tempted to take a similar line, are now urged to change their ways while there is still time.
What are the most joyful experiences you had as a disciple of Christ? There is still time for you to adjust your purpose of life that you can live in joy everyday. Don't waste your time!
Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage of scripture we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe"

What I heard from Jesus today is: The consequence of following a wrong master!
What I received from Jesus today is an invitation for us to follow His purpose of life to help more people to quit following a wrong master or masters. Of course, the first thing you need to live out each day is being with the true master, Jesus Christ our Lord so that you can have the strength and anointing to follow Jesus and to do the things He wants and prepares for you to do.
Jesus puts before us the consequence of following a wrong master - wrong attitude of using money. When wealth and money becomes our master then we'll have a life of self-centreness unable to repent and return to the Kingdom of heaven. And when time comes, it will be the fire of hell waiting for those who follow a wrong master!
Jesus' example of being a good and faithful mentor to help more people to repent and return to the Kingdom is the best way to lead people to the true master. I would like to invite you to participate in our Mentor 123 campaign starting this coming Easter Sunday, March 31 2013 to become a true loving father following Jesus example. Are you willing?
Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to be a faithful servant of you following your good example to be a loving mentor and father to lead more people to repent and return to your Kingdom. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
