Let us praise the Lord:

sought the Lord, and he answered me
and delivered me from all my fears.
Those who look to him are radiant,
and their faces shall never be ashamed.
                                                            Psalm 34:4-5

Bible Study

Today's passage gives us the most important time of Moses life. You may think that the moment that the red sea was opened should be the most important time to Moses and to all of us to follow. Not at all!

Professor John Goldingay shares a true story of how his wife met God through one of his medical school classmate whose name is John while they were dissecting a dead body. That was the moment Ann met God, just like Moses in today's passage.

Let's take a look at what Professor John Goldingay says (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Goldingay) :

Over the corpse, John asked her whether she went to church, and she told him she sometimes did and that she had been confirmed in the Church of England. "Do you know God?" John asked her.  The question flummoxed her.  She did not know how to think about it.  John invited her to go with him to the Anglican mecca near the BBC where another John was the preacher, and the rest is history.  On this ordinary working day, Ann suddenly found herself on the threshold of meeting with God.

Do you know God personally, or do you just go to church once a while and read the Bible once a while? God used two "John" to help Ann to meet Him personally, one is her classmate John, the other is John Stott. How are you willing to be used by God to help those whom God prepares in your life to meet Him?

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe":  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmax47l2hLU

The title I heard from Jesus today is: Be a John to lead people to meet Jesus

Wow! Today's message is like a bomb! Big explosion!

Jesus opens my eyes to see how He used John Stott in 1991 to change my life. Please click this link to read that story:

And, how did Jesus commanded me to bring our elder son Ignatius to go to England with me to meet with John Stott so that Iggy could know God's future plan for him. Please click this link to read that story:

Praise the Lord that both Iggy and I have become another "John" to point people to Jesus so that they really know God and have a personal relationship with Him. Just like John the Baptist. Yes, just like John the Baptist!

If you are listening to my podcast, today is the day that you need to go to my blog to read the two stories through the links and to see those important pictures. The miracles completely changed the life of both Iggy and me!

Dear Lord Jesus,
I give thanks to you for how you used Uncle John to change my life and guided me all the way since 1991 and also Ignatius. Open our eyes to see how much you would like us to be a John to lead people to you. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
