Bible Study
Yesterday we talked about the two-way power of fear, first the Pharisees and then the parents of the blind man.
Today we rejoice at the blind man's courage to confront the Pharisees. If you read carefully the content of the blind man's responses, you should be amazed. A minute ago he had been bullied by all kinds of people and a minute later he was like a courageous warrior or a lawyer to defend for Jesus! Very interesting!
Why? Because he experienced what John Newton, the writer of Amazing Grace or any born again Christian experience - I was blind but now I see!
If you have experienced how Jesus opened your eyes, then you should have the courage and the urge to witness, right?
Have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage of scripture we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe"

What I heard from Jesus today is: Now I See! 我看見了!
Yes, Jesus reminds me of the song Amazing Grace. And, He reminds me of how He opened my eyes just like He opens every born again Christian's eyes.
We were blind, but now we see!
Let's give thanks to the Lord now for how He opened our eyes and keeps opening our eyes day after day!
Dear Lord Jesus,
We give thanks to you for opening our eyes. Help us to know that we need this kind of eye opening experience daily so that we can be able to follow you daily. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
