"Neither this man nor his parents sinned," said Jesus, "but this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life."
John 9: 3(NIV 1984)
If your were blind, deaf or with critical illness, would you fall into the darkness of fear, insecurity and anger or would you have faith to be sure that when God allows this to happen to you then the work of God might be displayed in your life through your tragedy.
Jesus says in verse 5, "I am the light of the world." If you are in complete darkness, then you are just the same as a blind man. When the light comes, we can see! Be courageous and let Jesus to bring you light so that you can see and others can see God wonderful work be displayed!
Have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage of scripture we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe"
What I heard from Jesus today is: Let God's Work Be Displayed! 大顯神恩!
Jesus reminds me now that every time I or my family members were in distress, pain or disaster, God's work displayed through our obedience and trust in Him.
Tonight I prayed for a dear sister in our church that she is not well. I deeply believe that God will display His wonderful work through her trust and faithfulness in Him!
Be prepared and let God's work be displayed!
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to prepare ourselves to have total trust in you so that when the dark hours comes your work will be displayed through our sufferings and your name be glorified. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
