Bible Study

     This passage is about the importance of the blood of Jesus. Without our confession of our sins and the cleansing of the blood of Jesus, we can not enter into a true relationship with God and be able to serve the living God. Yes, we might be serving many "gods" like power, money and sex, but not God.

Bishop N.T. Wright says ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/N._T._Wright ) :
      Just as Jesus has gone into the very heart of the presence of God, not simply into a man-made building with an inner chamber but into the place where God lives in light and holiness, so the effects of his sacrifice are to be felt not only in the outer lives of his people, in terms of restoration to fellowship or being made 'clean' again in a bodily sense, but in the inward depths, the 'holy of holies' at the core of each individual person, the place where we really are who we are…
      In particular, this purification can wash us clean from 'dead works'  so that we can 'serve the living God' (verse 14).

    The title I heard from Jesus today is: Pray for the blood of Jesus to work inside you

    The message I got from Jesus today is a daily prayer request from Jesus- pray for the blood of Jesus to work inside you. Why? Because without the cleansing of the blood of Jesus we would be still serving many idols as 'gods'. Without the cleansing of the blood of Jesus nothing will be changed inside us. We would look fine outside. People think that we are good Christians, but inside us, we might be just bad boys and girls, or even wicked men and women.

     Yes, we really have to pray for the blood of Jesus to work inside us. But, how do we know that the blood of Jesus really working in us? Very simple. The 'holy of holies" in the core of our soul would be totally changed. The place we really  are who we are would be more and more becoming Christlike.

     Do you know how does it look like the place you really are who you are? 
    
Dear Lord Jesus,
Cleanse us with your blood that we can be changed and renewed inside the core of our souls. We do not want to act like Christians but in fact we are not real Christians inside us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
