Bible Study

From the story of Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham and Sarah the past three days, we come to the story of Moses and Rahab in today's passage. And then, many more in tomorrow's passage. What does the author wants to tell us?

Bishop N.T. Wright says ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/N._T._Wright ) :
How much more must we, in our day, learn to tell not only the story of Israel but the story of Jesus himself, and of his first followers, carefully and with gratitude, so that our faith and hope may in turn be nourished from the source.

N.T. Wright. Hebrews for Everyone. Louisville,KY: Westminster John Knox Press, 2004, p.142.

Have you learned how to tell those important stories of faith? How could those stories change your life?

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe":  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmax47l2hLU

Spiritual Journal

The title I heard from Jesus today is: How well can you tell God's story?

The message I got from Jesus today is an invitation to know more about God's story so that you can tell in the most Godly way. How could Moses and Rahab's stories touch your soul that you can be encouraged and move forward courageously with all those saints following Jesus towards the heavenly city, God's ultimate purpose?

Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to be abel to tell your story well. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
