This is the message from Nevia at 11:27p.m. yesterday(June 6 Thursday):
Leslie is OK and more stable now resting. After the surgery Tuesday, there is no more leak. After resting yesterday and today, he's more awake but still tired. Doctors said that they are satisfied at this stage. They are trying to let him sit up for his rehabilitation for faster recovery. Thanks God.

Wonderful news again! Let's pray on until Leslie is completely recovered.

Bible Study

This passage shows us one of the most important moment in the history of the Early Church: Saul saw Jesus and started his conversion process.

The scene was quite unusual. While he was on the way to ask the high priest for letters of authorization to take more Christians into prison, he saw Jesus, was blinded and did not eat and drink for three days, instructed by Jesus to enter into Damascus.

What do you think really happened inside Saul? How does that reminds of your own experience of conversion?

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage of scripture we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe"

Spiritual Journal

What I heard from Jesus today is: Saul saw Jesus. How about you?

What I got from Jesus is a question about relationship. The actual relationship with you and Jesus. Is your relationship of Jesus 1st hand each day, which means you really can listen to him daily. Or, your relationship with Him is 2nd, 3rd or 4th hands, which means you do not have direct contact with Jesus but through other people like your pastors, family members, books, CDs, DVDs, talks, conference etc.

No one ever see God face to face, but we can see God each day in a kind of relational way. Feeling His presence, listening to His voice and receiving the filling of the Holy Spirit.

Have you seen God in this way?

Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to be able to see you each day. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
