As Paul starts to finish this book, he leads us back to focus on Jesus and on how to worship Jesus. That's the only way and hope that we won't be turned into a self-centred judge accusing people all the days of our lives.

Bishop N.T. Wright's says ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/N._T._Wright ):

The aim of God's promises was never simply that Israel would be a great nation, distinct from and superior to all others.  To think like that was the primal mistake which Paul sees in 'Israel according to the flesh', including his own former self.  It was always so that, through Israel, God would call people of every nation into the one family of salvation and praise.  That, he declares triumphantly, is what has now been done through Jesus the Messiah, and all that remains is for the call to go out - the summons to obedience, faith and above all worship.

N.T. Wright. Paul for Everyone:Romans: Part 2. Louisville,KY: Westminster John Knox Press, 2004, p.119.

Our new lifestyle of Christlikeness leads us back to focus on Jesus and be able to worship Jesus as our Saviour, Lord and King. Instead of judging and rejecting others we choose to appreciate, encourage and welcome others and that we can worship our Lord Jesus Christ in unity.

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage of scripture we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe":  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmax47l2hLU

What I heard from Jesus today is: Focusing on Jesus and worshipping Jesus is the only way

What I got from Jesus today is a reminder that everything goes back to the focus on Jesus and the willingness to worship Him in unity. To me, as Paul approach the end of this book, it seems that he is leading us to shout loudly in unison: Jesus! Jesus! Jesus!

I understand more about why Rev. Paul Ng got a vision to write his one and only one song, singing the most simple but most powerful word:
Jesus! Jesus! Jesus! Jesus! Jesus! Jesus! Jesus! Jesus!

What could be better for us to worship our Lord Jesus Christ using everything we have got to praise Him and be willing to help more people to enter into this Christ-centered way of life.

Dear Lord Jesus,

Lead us to be able to focus our lives on you so that we can worship you in one accord.  In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
