Bible Study

      In the previous passage, Paul points out the one of the first problem in the Church at Corinth is "judgments."  Here in today's passage, Paul reveals the second problem: People have become kings.

       When people become kings, they like to draw famous leaders to become their leader to boast. I belong to Apollo. I belong to Paul. Whereas I belong to Jesus is the only way for people to live each day.

       When people become kings, they would think that they are satisfied, they did not want anything, not even Jesus because they are top of the world, they are kings. But, how can a human beings be a real king?  

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage of scripture we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him, while listening to "Gabriel's Oboe":  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmax47l2hLU

    What I heard from Jesus today is: When people become kings

    What I got from Jesus today is a reality that so many churches close down, some many Christians are lonely but boasting on all kinds of thing including how great their leader is. 

     Jesus is Lord! Is Jesus really your Lord and King? 

 Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to know that we will have big consequence to become kings. Lead us to follow you each day as our Lord and King. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
