Bible Study

From last passage we know that Jesus is the clue to all the secrets of God. And, this passage tells us that Holy Spirit is the wisdom we need to understand spiritual truths.

The Corinthians claims that they have lots of gifts of the Holy Spirit and insists that they have the wisdom to do God's ministry. But, Paul says without the Holy Spirit they won't have wisdom to understand spiritual truths.

Do you have the wisdom of the Holy Spirit in you? How well are you being taught by the Holy Spirit lately?

What I heard from Jesus today is: How do you know if you are a mature disciple of Jesus?

What I got from Jesus today is a challenging question to test our maturity in Christ. If we are a mature disciple of Christ, then we need to experience a few things:
1. You must have received the Holy Spirit
2. You are being taught by the Holy Spirit
3. You are able to understand spiritual truths

Have you experienced all three? How can you be more mature in Christ?

Dear Holy Spirit,

Come and fill us that we can have the wisdom from you to understand spiritual truths and be able to become a better disciple of Christ. We need to be more like you. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
