1. Pray for the Holy Spirit to shine on you that you are able to discover your sins and be willing to repent:
“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God and having Jesus as my Lord. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

2. Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:

12 When the angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon, he said, “The Lord is with you,mighty warrior.”
13 “Pardon me, my lord,” Gideon replied, “but if the Lord is with us, why has all this happened to us? Where are all his wonders that our ancestors told us about when they said, ‘Did not the Lord bring us up out of Egypt?’ But now the Lord has abandoned us and given us into the hand of Midian.”
14 The Lord turned to him and said, “Go in the strength you have and save Israel out of Midian’s hand. Am I not sending you?”
15 “Pardon me, my lord,” Gideon replied, “but how can I save Israel? My clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my family.”
16 The Lord answered, “I will be with you, and you will strike down all the Midianites, leaving none alive.”

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage we have just read. Offer this time up to Jesus as you listen to him.
My Listening
The topic I received today from Jesus is: The Lord is with you, mighty warrior!
When Gideon heard what the angel said, he replied, "Are you kidding! If God is with me, we won't suffer like this!"
Then, it was not the angel but God Himself said, "I send you to fight for the Israelites, go, you have the strength!"
Gideon replied to God, "Are you kidding! I am a nobody, how can I have strength to save the Israelites?"
God said, "I am with you, and you can win!"
May you hear what God is telling you now, "I am with you, mighty warrior! You can win this COVID-19 spiritual warfare!"
When Gideon heard what the angel said, he replied, "Are you kidding! If God is with me, we won't suffer like this!"

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to be able to hear your call and to respond to your call that because of your presence, we have the strength to win this COVID-19 spiritual warfare. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
