2.   Thank God for all those moments, and for all those people

Confession and Repentance (Subjective Shifting Devotion Method http://bishopsilas.blogspot.ca/2009/08/count-down-5-subject-shifting-devotion.html)

1.  Pray for the Holy Spirit to shine on you that you are able to discover your sins and be willing to repent:

“Dear Holy Spirit, shine your light into the places of darkness in my life. Show me my sins, everything that blocks me from encountering God and having Jesus as my Lord. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

2.  Through the Holy Spirit, examine yourself for a short silence and then pray:

"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins and being victorious over death and sin. I confess my sin to you(pause, to tell Jesus what the Holy Spirit has shown you). Forgive my sins by your blood and help me follow you. Holy Spirit, fill me that I may be able to receive your gift to love God and His people. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen."

The Word, Time with Abba (Psalm 76:1-9,1 Chronicles 28:1-29:30; Romans 5:6-21; Proverbs 19:18-19)

     Today's main passage:
“And you, my son Solomon, acknowledge the God of your father, and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches every heart and understands every desire and every thought. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will reject you forever.  Consider now, for the Lord has chosen you to build a house as the sanctuary. Be strong and do the work.”

David also said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the temple of the Lord is finished.  The divisions of the priests and Levites are ready for all the work on the temple of God, and every willing person skilled in any craft will help you in all the work. The officials and all the people will obey your every command.”

Besides, in my devotion to the temple of my God I now give my personal treasures of gold and silver for the temple of my God, over and above everything I have provided for this holy temple: three thousand talents of gold (gold of Ophir) and seven thousand talents[c] of refined silver, for the overlaying of the walls of the buildings, for the gold work and the silver work, and for all the work to be done by the craftsmen. Now, who is willing to consecrate themselves to the Lord today?”

Then the leaders of families, the officers of the tribes of Israel, the commanders of thousands and commanders of hundreds, and the officials in charge of the king’s work gave willingly.

      1 Chronicles 28:9-10, 20-21, 29:3-6

Let's have a time to be still and give the Holy Spirit space to speak through the passage we have just read. Offer this time to Jesus as you listen to him.

    My Listening
The topic I received today is: The secret of King David's success! If you follow, sure win!

What I have received is the secret of King David's success from the last word and last command of King David to his son Solomon and his leaders!

When I examined the past forty years of my spiritual journey of how God changed and transformed me from a life of failure to a life of a little bit successful, that's the same path!

Are you willing to follow this path?

I assure you that if you follow this path, you will be successful, sure win!

Now, let's take a look at David's four steps of Successful Path:
    1. Seek God and know Him
    2. Serve God with a whole-hearted devotion and a willing mind
    3. Be strong and courage to listen and obey to God
    4. To lead others in making your own big offerings

Yes, these four steps led King David to have the presence of God all the times of his life. These four steps helped David to have all his leaders to obey him and his Kingdom extended, and God's Kingdom glorified!

     Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to follow these four steps of the success of King David that we can have your presence each day and have a successful life to glorify your Mighty Name. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen.

     Reflect on these questions:
     1. What inspiration have you received from today's catch?

      2.  What is your next step?
